1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to all driving lessons and bookings provided by BrB Driving School (“we”, “us”, “our”), a driving school based in Beckingham, DN10. By booking a lesson with us — through this website, by phone or by message — you agree to these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

2. Booking a lesson

Lessons can be requested using the booking form on this website, by phone or by message. A booking request is not confirmed until we contact you to confirm the date and time.

To learn with us you must:

• hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence for the whole time you are learning with us;
• be at least 17 years old, or 16 if you receive the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance or PIP;
• tell us about any medical condition, medication or eyesight requirement that could affect your ability to drive;
• be able to read a number plate at the required distance, wearing glasses or contact lenses if you need them.

3. Prices and payment

Our current lesson prices are shown on the Lessons page. The price of your lesson is confirmed when it is booked. We may change our prices at any time, but a change will never affect a lesson you have already booked and paid for.

Payment is due at the start of each lesson unless we agree otherwise in advance. We accept cash and bank transfer.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson.

• 24 hours' notice or more: no charge, and any prepaid lesson stays on your account.
• Less than 24 hours' notice, or if you are not ready when we arrive: the lesson may be charged in full.
• If we have to cancel your lesson, we will rearrange it at no extra cost or refund any amount you have paid for it.
• Prepaid lesson blocks are non-refundable, but remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

5. Lesson conduct and safety

Your instructor may end a lesson at any time, without refund, if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if you behave in a way that puts anyone at risk, or if you are not fit to drive. Our instructors are entitled to work in a safe and respectful environment.

You must bring your provisional licence to every lesson. If you forget it, the lesson may not be able to go ahead and may still be charged.

6. Our vehicles and insurance

All of our tuition vehicles are fully insured for driving instruction and are regularly serviced and maintained. You are covered by our insurance while driving our vehicle during a lesson, provided you hold a valid licence and follow your instructor's directions.

7. Driving tests

We can help you book and prepare for your driving test. Test fees are set by the DVSA and are payable by you. If you use our car for your test, the normal lesson rate applies for the use of the car and your instructor's time.

We cannot guarantee that you will pass your test, and we are not responsible for test cancellations or delays caused by the DVSA.

8. Our responsibility to you

We will provide tuition with reasonable care and skill, delivered by a qualified DVSA-approved driving instructor. We are not liable for any loss caused by something outside our reasonable control, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies to your booking.
